This is the Veneer World Atelier Essence Combed Montauk Black tile, 12x24 in a slate face. Veneer World is porcelain cut and stacked to read as a ledgestone wall, installed as tile rather than as masonry.

Slate is split rather than sawn, so its face has a shallow cleft texture, and that texture is pressed into this tile. Use it across kitchens, bathrooms and open living areas, on the floor or up the wall.

The body is 9 mm and the edges are rectified, so it lays with a tight grout joint. The surface is matte. It is sold by the box, 13.56 sq ft per box and 7 pieces in it.

It is made in the United States, at Landmark's Mount Pleasant plant in Tennessee.
