The warmth people buy travertine for comes from the banding, and it survives the move into porcelain. Mesh backing holds the layout in the B cut, which is what makes a mosaic practical on a shower floor or a backsplash.

The body is 9 mm and the edges are rectified, so it lays with a tight grout joint. The surface is matte. One box covers 9.69 sq ft, 10 pieces.
