The warmth people buy travertine for comes from the banding, and it survives the move into porcelain. This is the corner piece where two runs of coping meet, in the left hand orientation, so the pool edge turns without a mitred site cut.

The body is 20 mm and the edges are rectified, so it lays with a tight grout joint. The surface is matte. It is sold by the box, 2.86 sq ft per box and 2 pieces in it.
