Frontier20 Fashion Grey, 12x24, a porcelain Grip Stair Tread with a terrazzo face. Frontier20 is the 20 mm outdoor programme, thick enough to be laid dry on gravel, sand or pedestals.

Poured terrazzo is slow and only practical during construction; this gets to the same face on a tile. This is the walking surface of a step, made with a finished front edge rather than a cut one.

The body is 20 mm and the edges are rectified, so it lays with a tight grout joint. The surface is matte. One box covers 3.87 sq ft, 2 pieces.

It is produced to order rather than pulled from stock, which is worth planning for early in a job. Production is domestic, from the Mount Pleasant, Tennessee plant.
