Essence Montauk Grey is a 3x24 slate look porcelain Bullnose. Essence keeps the cleft texture of slate and drops the flaking that comes with the real stone.

Slate is split rather than sawn, so its face has a shallow cleft texture, and that texture is pressed into this tile. This is the edge piece: one long side is rounded and glazed, which is what a cut tile can never be.

The body is 9 mm and the edges are rectified, so it lays with a tight grout joint. The surface is matte. One box covers 4.65 sq ft, 10 pieces.
