8x12 Vintage Distressed Tabriz Carpet

:: Diamond shaped center medallion with interior Herati design motif adorned at either end by multi-tiered finials ending in a single cloud-like encapsuled floral design element. Relatively fine in weave based on age. Colors and shades include: Antique ivory, beige, dusty powder blue, dark madder root red, rust, raspberry red, and more. Condition notes: Even wear across to knot heads with faint foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. In the main field closer to one end there is some minor speckling which appears to be re-knotting, more noticeable from the dark side of the carpet. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Tabriz carpet made in Persia circa 1940's vintage. Size measures 8'3" x 12'1".
