7x10 Vintage Distressed Oushak Carpet

:: Roundel center floral design minor medallion inside a larger scalloped contoured main medallion. Interior field in palmette and floral buds scattered throughout. Corner spandrel overlays in quarter map relief to the main medallion. Inner and outer minor borders in a reciprocating pawn design motif. Main border in a partial pomegranate stylized top view and minor cartouche with floral blossoms and buds therein. Colors and shades include: Dusty rose, blush, ivory, platinum, pale coffee brown with a hint of purple, and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. For processing purposes, this and other rugs of the type may have painted numbers on the reverse side. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Turkish Oushak carpet made in Turkey circa 1960's vintage. Size measures 6'10" x 10'.
