7x10.5 Vintage Distressed Kars Carpet

:: Octagonal center medallion with multi-tiered finials finishing in an arrowed medallion atop an open field. Stepped corner spandrels with abrashes across and narrow banded main border with floral top views. Colors and shades include: Beige, oxidized silver, bronze brown, sand, and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Slight contour to shape, within normal margin for type and age. A few areas of old spots found in the main medallion. For processing purposes, this and other rugs of the type may have painted numbers on the reverse side. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Turkish Kars carpet made in Turkey circa 1970's vintage. Size measures 7'3" x 10'6".
