:: Unusually large proportioned afshar / tribal weaving. Triple center medallion atop an allover covered field in a herati inspired motif. Excellent contrast and unique motif for the type, while still embodying many of the traditional design elements, such as birds and animals throughout. Colors and shades include: Cherry red, mallard green, saffron yellow, sky blue, indigo, ivory, and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads with faint areas of foundation showing through. Fully secured sides and ends. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Afshar made in Persia circa 1920's vintage. Size measures 7'6" x 16'2".
