6.5x8.5 Vintage Distressed Oushak Carpet

:: A carpet with emphasis on textured aesthetic through wear. Weaver meeting points interlacing the center field with diagonal striations. Colors and shades include: Dusty gold, beige, ivory, pale coffee brown, charcoal, dusty olive green, pale seafoam green, and more. Condition notes: Large areas of foundation showing through with wear across to knot heads. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Measures 6'4" on one end while the opposing is 6'7", within normal margins for type and age. Two rewoven areas, approximately one and a half by three inches each, and one small mend to the side selvage. For processing purposes, this and other rugs of the type may have painted numbers on the reverse side. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Turkish Oushak carpet made in Turkey circa 1960's vintage. Size measures 6'7" x 8'7".
