:: Allover covered field in floral sprays wrapped by a palmette and meandering vine main border. A period correct painted rug. Colors and shades include: Raspberry red, navy blue, beige, sand, dusty jade green, dusty emerald green, chocolate brown, dusty saffron yellow, and more. Condition notes: Areas of pile and knot heads. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. A few areas of white knots showing through with several areas of dropped wefts which just appear as wear lines on the face. Slight contour to shape, within normal margin for type and age. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Sarouk carpet made in Persia circa 1910's vintage. Size measures 6'8" x 8'7".
