6.5x10.5 Vintage Distressed Oushak Carpet

:: Oversized center medallion with scalloped outlined contour with oversize densely ornamented end finials atop a partially opened field and corner spandrel overlays loosely reciprocating the contour of the main medallion. Meandering vine main border with inner and outer minor borders in more densely detailed ornamented leaves and floral cross-sections. Colors and shades include: Violet purple, cherry red, beige, sand, tangerine orange, antique ivory, and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads with small isolated areas of foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. For processing purposes, this and other rugs of the type may have painted numbers on the reverse side. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Turkish Oushak carpet made in Turkey circa 1950's vintage. Size measures 6'5" x 10'8".
