:: Large scale oversized starburst center medallion closely resembling Caucasian Kazak design relief in sharp contrasting colors. Adorned at either end by classic Karaja rectangular minor medallions atop a covered field of geometric floral top views and pinwheel design elements. Colors and shades include: Madder root red, brick red, ivory, sky blue, mallard green, rose, blush, tangerine orange, and more. Condition notes: Mostly even short pile across. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. One end measures 4'9" whereas the opposing measures 4'11". This variation is within normal margins for hand knotted rugs of this type, age, and size. Light reduction to one end outer minor border. Slight contour to shape, within normal margin for type and age. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use!
