5.5x9.5 Vintage Distressed Sivas Carpet

:: Scalloped center medallion in partial diamond shape contour adorned at either end by double tiered finials atop a covered field of scrolling vines and blossoms. Corner spandrel overlays loosely reciprocate the contour of the main medallion. Colors and shades include: Pale rose, jade green, dusty denim blue, sapphire blue, oxidized silver and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads with faint foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. For processing purposes, this and other rugs of the type may have painted numbers on the reverse side. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Turkish Sivas carpet made in Turkey circa 1950's vintage. Size measures 5'8" x 9'8".
