:: Triple center medallion with interior floral bouquet atop a predominantly open field with scattered minor blossoms. Corner spandrel overlays loosely reciprocate the contour of the outer most medallions bearing partial Herati design motif. Main border in a germinating plant Serbend inspired rendering with minor cartouches and blossoms therein. Colors and shades include: Navy blue, ivory, jade green, madder root red, terracotta, beige, powder blue, and more. Condition notes: Areas of pile and knot heads. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. One end measures 4'10" whereas the opposing measures 5'5". Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Malayer carpet made in Persia circa 1940's vintage. Size measures 5'5" x 7'5".
