:: Elongated hexagonal center medallion with similar contoured main field and corner spandrel overlays all bearing a covered Herati design motif and inverted coloration. Inner and outer minor borders in a repeating boteh design motif with main border in a floral top view crab-style meandering vine and blossom design motif. Colors and shades include: Dusty raspberry red, faded burgundy red, dusty powder blue, dusty sky blue, aubergine red, antique ivory, and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Carpet is showing white knot heads. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Malayer rug made in Persia circa 1940's vintage. Size measures 4'3" x 6'5".
