:: Broad sprawling tree of life design motif with thin banded vinery in geometric relief bearing serrated and finned leaves throughout with birds perched in and around weeping willow trees at the base of the main field. Wrapped by a meandering vine and floral blossom minor border with heavy abrashes throughout. Colors and shades include: Dusty sapphire blue, dusty pale teal, terracotta, chestnut, faded rust, pale rose, and more. Condition notes: Even wear across to knot heads with faint foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Hamadan rug made in Persia circa 1940's vintage. Size measures 4'9" x 7'9".
