:: Covered field with single column diamond shaped center medallions buffered by geometric botehs and minor pinwheel design elements with animals and serpents hidden throughout. Colors and shades include: Cobalt blue, cherry red, navy blue, mallard green, ivory, sapphire blue, and more. Condition notes: Even wear across to knot heads with faint foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Minor rippling which should ease with use and wear and a pad underneath. Three inches more narrow on one end than the opposing, within normal margins for type and age. Two or three scattered areas of minor isolated restoration. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Afshar rug runner made in Persia circa 1910's vintage.
