3x5 Vintage Mehriban Rug

:: Minor center medallion with two oversized larger medallions partially mirroring each other in slight asymmetric contour atop a heavily abrashed ground. Wrapped by a meandering vine and blossoms main border. Colors and shades include: Antique ivory, pale dusty rose, faded blush, pale coffee brown, dusty denim blue, bronze, beige, dusty sea foam jade green, and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads with faint foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Reduction to one outer minor border. This carpet appears to have more soft subtle tones than originally would have been known to the type, possibly further washed down at the point of import or later years. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Mehriban rug made in Persia circa 1930's vintage. Size measures 2'10" x 4'10".
