3x5 Vintage Distressed Oushak Rug

:: Interconnected center medallions in hexagonal relief wrapped by an inner minor border in barber pole alternating coloration with main border in an oversized geometric quatrefoil oriented floral top view. Wrapped by a zig-zag outer minor border. Colors and shades include: Pale ruby red grapefruit, pale seafoam green, ivory, platinum, dusty gold, pale terracotta, mauve, ivory, and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads with hard isolated areas of foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. One end measures 2'8" whereas the opposing measures 2'10". This variation is within normal margins for hand knotted rugs of this type, age, and size. For processing purposes, this and other rugs of the type may have painted numbers on the reverse side. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Turkish Oushak rug made in Turkey circa 1960's vintage. Size measures 2'10" x 4'10".
