:: Finely woven Karaja or Lanbaran rug with classic staggered quatrefoil main medallion and hook and latch outer medallions in asymmetric weight. Main border in a meandering vine geometric palmette design motif. Colors and shades include: Cherry red, sapphire blue, jade green, burgundy wine red, aubergine, pale coffee brown, beige, camel, and more. Condition notes: Areas of pile and knot heads. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Even wear to original pile with light etching to knot heads from old moth nibbles. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Karaja rug made in Persia circa 1940's vintage. Size measures 3'2" x 4'7".
