3.5x6 Vintage Distressed Oushak Rug

:: Large center medallion with central floral bouquets atop an abrashed field with inwardly directed cloud band stylized ribbon design elements. Interior minor border in a meandering vine with main border in a rose and floral petal design motif. Colors and shades include: Dusty rose, blush, ivory, oxidized silver, charcoal brown, and more. Condition notes: Even wear across to knot heads with faint foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Field inscription partially re-piled to match the abrashes, likely a weaver name and date. For processing purposes, this and other rugs of the type may have painted numbers on the reverse side. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Turkish Oushak rug made in Turkey circa 1960's vintage. Size measures 3'4" x 6'2".
