:: Allover covered field in a Herati motif wrapped by a wide banded main border in an inverted samovar turtle design motif. High sheen and glossy wool imparting a silk-like appearance adding to great differential in light and dark sides. Abrashes across Colors and shades include: Ruby red grapefruit, dusty teal, copper, dusty powder blue, dusty slate blue, oxidized silver, ivory, platinum and more. Condition notes: Mostly secure ends with tatter and loss to sides. Mostly even pile across. Original macrame ends mostly intact. Several localized areas of heavy darning found to the reverse side in varying degrees of expertise. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Bijar rug made in Persia circa 1930's vintage. Size measures 3'6" x 5'6".
