2.5x5 Vintage Sarouk Rug Runner

:: Quatrefoil oriented outwardly directed palmette main medallion atop a covered field of thousand flower stylized floral sprays, meandering vine inner and outer minor borders, and serrated leaf main border. Colors and shades include: Raspberry, sapphire blue, ivory, beige, navy blue, gold, and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. A period correct painted carpet. Minor moth etching to the reverse as well as having been lightly shorn from its original thickness, and one or two areas of staining to the reverse side. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Sarouk rug runner made in Persia circa 1940's vintage. Size measures 2'7" x 4'11".
