2.5x4 Vintage Distressed Oushak Rug

:: Stepped center medallion atop an open field with serpent filled corner spandrel overlays! Inner minor border in a meandering vine and bud design motif, with main border in a geometric stepped minor medallion repeating blossom fill. Colors and shades include: Silver, oxidized silver, platinum, sandalwood, pale tangerine orange, and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads with small isolated areas of foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. One minor repaired split to the side border. For processing purposes, this and other rugs of the type may have painted numbers on the reverse side. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Turkish Oushak rug made in Turkey circa 1970's vintage. Size measures 2'9" x 3'10".
