2.5x4 Vintage Distressed Oushak Rug

:: Stepped oversized center medallion with interior floral arrangement atop a narrow open field with seeded corner spandrel overlays and large scale primitive geometric floral top views in a wide range of shades. Colors and shades include: Pale tangerine orange, coffee brown, chocolate brown, ivory, antique ivory, silver, pink, and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads with foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Cited measurements account for the wider side, with one end four inches less, within normal margins for the type and age. For processing purposes, this and other rugs of the type may have painted numbers on the reverse side. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Turkish Oushak rug made in Turkey circa 1950's vintage. Size measures 2'8" x 3'11".
