2.5x4.5 Vintage Distressed Oushak Rug

:: Stepped center medallion with outwardly directed geometric finned floral design elements and long stemmed end finials atop a predominantly open field with seed corner spandrel overlays and repeating geometric blossom main border with inner minor in a meandering vine and blossom motif. Colors and shades include: Cherry red, ivory, seafoam green, pale mint green, dusty jade green, pale saffron yellow, soft mauve and more. Condition notes: Areas of pile, knot heads and foundation. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Multiple areas of repairs with in varying degrees of expertise. For processing purposes, this and other rugs of the type may have painted numbers on the reverse side. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Turkish Oushak rug made in Turkey circa 1950's vintage. Size measures 2'5" x 4'8".
