2.5x4.5 Vintage Distressed Oushak Rug

:: Scalloped center medallion adorned at each end by minor finials atop an open field with corner spandrel overlays in a quarter map medallion bearing interior lattice / trellis design motif. Colors and shades include: Cantaloupe melon, cobalt blue, ivory, dusty gold, bronze, seafoam green, sapphire blue, magenta and more. Condition notes: Even wear across to knot heads with faint foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Some areas of harder saturated shades and others with softer oxidized tones. For processing purposes, this and other rugs of the type may have painted numbers on the reverse side. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Turkish Oushak rug made in Turkey circa 1960's vintage. Size measures 2'9" x 4'6".
