2.5x4.5 Vintage Distressed Oushak Rug

:: Pomegranate stylized center medallion with finned finials atop a partially covered field of halved geometric diamond shaped guls with hook and latch enveloped outlines. Main border in a floral top view and interior minor border in a meandering vine design motif. Colors and shades include: Faded raspberry red, pale saffron yellow, pale seafoam green, platinum, silver, chocolate with a hint of aubergine, and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads with faint foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. One corner of the carpet has been professionally restored. For processing purposes, this and other rugs of the type may have painted numbers on the reverse side. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Turkish Oushak rug made in Turkey circa 1950's vintage. Size measures 2'8" x 4'3".
