2.5x4.5 Vintage Distressed Oushak Rug

:: Center medallion with quatrefoil geometric tone-on-tone interior germinating bouquet enveloped by a minor blossom detailing on the perimeter and germinating floral finials at either opposing end. Main field abrashed, with corner spandrel overlays loosely reciprocating the contour of the main medallion in representative quarter map. Outer minor border in a meandering vine and simplistic blossom design motif. Colors and shades include: Pale raspberry red, ivory, antique ivory, dusty faded powder blue, soft faded sunflower yellow and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. For processing purposes, this and other rugs of the type may have painted numbers on the reverse side. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Turkish Oushak rug made in Turkey circa 1960's vintage. Size measures 2'8" x 4'5".
