:: Inspired by Samarkand carpets of yesteryear in an allover repeating pattern of oversize side view floral petals with stemmed buds emanating therefrom, scrolling into the next. Highly unusual weave in a reverse Soumac with mixed raised hand knotted pile merged with a flatweave, whereby weavers must be on both sides of the loom in order to properly accomplish the unique technical nature of this weaving style. Colors and shades include: Oxidized silver, ivory, pale cochineal red, and more. Condition notes: Like new original full pile height and even wear across, in original condition.
