4.5x6 Vintage Distressed Malayer Rug

:: Elongated cartouche-like double trefoil end medallions with interior serrated leaf checkered design motif and floral top view renderings atop a covered field of interconnected geometric vines. Main border in an elaborately detailed serbend style meandering vine with fern-like detail renderings bearing long stemmed oversized serrated leaf floral blossoms. Colors and shades include: Beige, dusty gold, sand, dusty teal, dark copper, chestnut, dusty platinum, camel and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Minor reduction to both ends. One expert restoration approximately 2" x 4" closer to the center of the rug. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Malayer rug made in Persia circa 1930's vintage. Size measures 4'7" x 6'.
