:: Center medallion with quatrefoil design relief trefoil contouring adorned at either end by germinating plant finials atop a covered Herati main field with shield-like field overlay and corner spandrel details. Main border in floral bouquets containing roses. Colors and shades include: Cherry red, dark navy blue, ivory, beige, dusty teal, and more. Condition notes: Even wear across to knot heads. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Minor old moth nibbles reaching the knot heads, small and hard to see from standing height. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Bijar rug made in Persia circa 1950's vintage. Size measures 2'7" x 4'5".
